Digital Images

It's been interesting learning different types of images online and knowing which images are used for specific things. I've always seen .jpg and .png files so it's nice to know exactly what that means for the type of picture it is and what it can be used for. Also, I always wondered why some pictures would stay the same if they got larger and why some were pixilated or grainy and now I know I need to look for vector pictures for clarity. Furthermore, it's nice to know how to insert images on different websites and where exactly I can get the images from. Obviously, I knew what copyright was but I did not know the details of the law and what is considered copyrighted and what is not. I'm thankful i was given a few resources to find images without breaking the law. Although I am not a teacher and I will not be using anything in a classroom setting probably, it's nice to know what I can and cannot put on my website for my career.
