Resource Wiki

At first, I felt like this assignment was not something I would be interested in nor would I find anything that would be applicable to me as an interpreter. However, I enjoyed seeing the different categories interpreters were broken into and enjoyed the links that were shared.

It always helps to have extra information pertaining to your field. The qualifications allow us to completely understand what is required of us and how to accomplish being a sign language interpreter. I also enjoyed the "What we do" tab because it allows me to have easy access to information that would be very well used as a sign language interpreter. Most people do not understand the role of a sign language interpreter, so if I have access to these websites I can send them along and allow the people involved in my setting to understand my role in their situation.

Although I had doubts about the project, I am happy I was able to do it. It's nice to see what others are able to find about our job and how it can be broken down and understood better.

  1. I'm glad to see that you were able to develop something useful. I think it's all in how to decide to use the class to your advantage. Knowledge of computers is ALWAYS helpful. dr. b
